Sherif Mohamed (if the record was right) = Diego Maradonna!!

If that video doesn't make it onto Almost Footy Legends I'll lodge a bloody protest!!

(Website will be updated tommorrow night after the Sunday game BTW)

Oak Park defeated Keilor by 71 points today. Keilor won every game of season but lost the most important one. Oak Park go back to back. Oak Park also won the reserves. Its fair to say that Oak Park have had a couple good seasons.

Unless I'm mistaken it's been b2b for the U18s (Abers), ressies (Oak Park) and the ones (OP). Great day for the EDFL - even Sheps somersault in the half time race was different! Abers were more intense in the U18s and gave Strathmore more respect than the 2nd semi - a good all over win. Chris Platt a great winner for BOG. Reserves a no contest - OP all the way. In the ones Keilor seemed to have it won very early - so many scoring shots and plenty of the ball. Too fancy at times - once again no respect for the opposition which led to OP getting some cheap goals. That said in the 2nd half they were great. Keilor choked after being only a goal down at half time - an 11 goal loss will lead to a lot of soul searching over summer. Fletcher (No. 4) a well deserved winner of the medal also.

Keilor were 1 point behind Oak Park half way in the 3rd quarter and that when Oak Park kick the next 5 golas to by 33 points at Three quarter time

And if I'm not mistaken that's 4 in a row for the Abers' Under 18's and 5 out of the last 6. Well done boys and to the club. Just shows that the junior policy at Abers is working successfully. Now if we can only transform that into senior premierships....

It's a pity I didn't get back for the senior game (I knew I should have stayed!!!). I would have loved to see Keilor get pumped like that. :D

As I said on my website report, and I quote;

But then they gave away two goals through foolish acts of poor discipline, and then Tullamarine added an exclamation mark with a third goal right out of the Diego Maradonna play book!

It was a good time, no doubt. It was as though it was a "hand of God" (LOL) telling West Coburg to sharpen up their discipline!

Craigieburn's U/18's undefeated with a % that peaked at 431.7 after the H&A.

Avondale Heights got within 2 goals all 3 times including the Granny! Lost by 2 points twice! Ouch!

U/16 Div 3 & U/12's (undefeated) premiers too. The future is bright for the Eagles also.
