i would watch closely the NRL and ASADA. The parallels are striking, Dank and all, but in the end the AFL has tried to cut corners, just like Hird, Dank, & Robinson did.

haha, Bunk that's a nice twist on reality. Franklin spent the year working his way towards a premiership with his teammates.

And don't worry, Hawks fans turned on him quicker than you can say "is this jab necessary, James?".

the police even got involved it was such a low act
yet Matthews remains an icon of the game

I just don't get the adoration with all the shame he has brought on with the PED program and his actions in particular after it. Ok I can understand he wanted a sophisticated program as per other clubs. However I don't get that he condoned drugs that have not been approved for human use. And to have the payers sign consent forms to pass the blame onto the players ie they ok'd the injections.

And the way he's carried on post getting caught is nothing but shameful and selfish behavior.

It's nothing personal (really), but I just can't have this conversation yet again. For the sake of the few crumbs of sanity I have left.

It's exactly what he did. Cries crocodile tears after losing a GF, then calls that very opponent 2 weeks later and tells them to get him there. Makes it happen in the way that ensures the Hawks get bollocks on return, all while carrying on this pathetic soap opera that he was ever a chance to stay.

He was playing at the same time, Hird was coaching us at the same time.

Hawks supporters I know refuse to hear a bad word against him. I can use that sample to cast aspersions across an entire supporter base - that's what everyone else does!
