For how long have the deluded ones been bemoaning the AFL?

Like i said, the AFL from here on out will actually work in our favour. They are a rotten scheming organisation. They dont want players banned, there will be measures taken so that they are protected. The flaws in the system may benefit us this time.

This is why i quoted ****, in an ideal world where the system worked? Sure our players would probably be banned by the AFL. As we have seen though this system is so broken that i think there is a strong case for nothing coming of this at all. AFL X Broom =Rug

This has become more about ASADA and the AFL( both government organisations) clearing their name for the complete balls up created and using James Hird along with 34 EFC players as scape goats.

Let's also remember that we are talking about a cell building protein consisting of 43 amino acids, not a steroid or anabolic, also keep in mind that this supplement ( not a drug ) wasn't on ASADA's list of no no's when the bombers were looking for an edge.

Also remember, there have been no reported side effects during the past few years since it became available. STORM IN A FREAKIN TEA CUP.....

I thought that quote meant that Dank, like many people are supposed to have done,keep 2 sets of books, one being for the tax man and the second being the real figure. Would not surprise me in the slightest.

The stupidity, it is astounding:

Is this McDevitt's greatest moment in public? Is he trying to be the Miley Cyrus style wrecking ball that finishes off Hirdy and just maybe our great club. Ok he is new to the role, but there would have been no shame saying, guess what, ASADA botched the investigation, let bygones be bygones. But no like a bad CEO pursuing his predecessors flawed strategy he's driving towards a Richard (Cliff not Ings).

So ASADA have just issued 34 SCN's to players that are 350 pages long detailing the case against the player and they somehow "botched the investigation"
Would hate to see if they nailed the investigation then.

Have you ever woken up next to a horror after a big night on the drink, then the realisation of what you did the night before smacks you in the face:

I was listening to Mick Warner over on Adelaide radio today. Only caught the last minute but they were talking as if it is just a given that bans will come and come quickly. The comment was made that a James Hird's successful appeal might be the only thing that saves our players.
They covered everything from AFL contingency plans, Jobe's Brownlow, and where EFC will scavenge players from when (not if) the bans get handed out. Was a bit unsettling to hear.

Do they really think that the stain will go away even if they get off on a technicality?

Deals would be a disaster for the reputation of the players and club. It won't just go away but stay forever.
Really hope they fight at the tribunal.

Wasn't there a nurse involved with off-site injections? Could be mistaken but I vaguely remember it being mentioned early on. Any nurse worth their weight would want to know exactly what they were injecting into players, the doses, etc. The nurse's evidence would hold some weight you'd think.

Unlike Dr Reid who didn't know what the players were being injected with but went along with it.
