So it's not "EPL".

Actually it's official name apparently is the Barclay Premier league. It has never had "English" in its name officially it dropped "FA" in 2007. I just looked it up

EPL is very commonly used certainly in Australia. Thus it is a perfectly legitimate name for the competition

The 2018/19 season was the 27th of the Premier League after its formation in 1992.

After numerous discussions with football authorities, players and television broadcasters, the First Division clubs resigned from the Football League in May 1992 and the Premier League was formed, with the inaugural campaign starting on Saturday 15 August of that year.

Below, each of the 26 seasons has been charted with the story of how the titles were won and the players who starred.

From 2011/12's incredible finale, to Arsenal's "Invincibles", as well as Manchester United's record 13 triumphs, find out more about the rich history of the Premier League.

Do not follow soccer. Is EPL 1st Division or Premier League ?
EPL is the 1st division. The 1st division of the EFL is the Championship. The 2nd division of the EFL is League One.

Got it?

I understand people's fanciful ideas about an exciting last round and fairness... but taking a game at Mars stadium in Ballarat, a Bulldogs home game... and handing it to Adelaide as their home game is taking a giant :poo: on the fairness part of the equation.

You presume they fixture it so that didn’t happen

This would be a great idea. The amount of Stadiums used in the current AFL is insane.
Stadiums Like the MCG, Perth Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Docklands Stadium, Kardinia Park, The GABBA, SCG, Carrara Stadium, Giants Stadium, The 2 Tassie, Nth QLD and NT Stadiums, Eureka Stadium and Manuka Oval could all be used. This is insane and totally viable to happen. I think the only way this can't be happening is by Broadcast rights but, I have a solution. 7, 7Mate and either 7Two, 7Flix or 7Plus could host the other game. 5 Fox Sports Channels would broadcast the other games as well as Fox Sports News doing an around the grounds report. This may be a bit ridiculous but it could possibly work.

Calling it on the EPL is only Australian thing - I got laughed off the field calling it that in the UK.

Makes sense - you are in England so why would you need to define your top league as being English :drunk:

Garbage idea. This isn't the EPL

Plus it takes away good excitement, time and potential story lines of other games.

??? Potential story lines like dead rubbers :drunk:
