Which is your favorite free kick?

  • HTB of course!

  • 3rd man up ruck infringement has quickly grown on me!

  • The new rushed behind is great for creating tension & excitement!

  • Deliberate's always fun when its a coin toss!

  • Big fan of the "Setanta Special", kicking in danger!

  • Jack Watts says any but blocking in marking contests.. they stop him taking intercept marks!

Well done to the men in green on another splendid performance tonight, it brought back so many fond memories of the GF!
Of course the highlight was the free against Callum Mills in the goalsquare which allowed the Doggies to seal the win - another superb decision that one. :)

Most of us would feel embarrassed to award the Bulldogs almost twice the number of frees as their opponents but not these brave men, to them its all part of the job and what a splendid job they do of it!

So here's to the brave men in green, the most underappreciated men on the field. :D

If your not smart enough to know you can take control of the ball and have enough momentum to be tackled and still rush a behind........free kick for being a dumb arse. Let's remember why we have to debate this rule, cheating dirty bludging Hawthorn footballers or the rule fudging coach that came up with the idea. What a legacy to leave.

Only 4 posts in and a handbagger makes this about their obsession with Hawthorn.

Lol! From a flog that supports a team that has had an amazing ride from the umpires for the last half a decade & was given games and premiships by them,to have a melt down so soon!

So what I'm hearing is Hawthorn are so ****ing good they need to change the rules to even try and stop us?

People say umpires are at their best when you don't notice them. But I prefer them to make their presence felt. Like Goldspink imposing himself on the 2001 prelim, McBurney dropping the demonstrative abuse call, any one of them rushing in to pay a deliberate out of bounds. They are the real stars of football. There should be more of them out there, and less players.

Grab the ball, turn and take the tackle through for a behind, basic stuff from an AFL defender

That absolutely was a free kick,he had 5 meters of space and chose to punch rather than defend.
Pathetic

Plugger35's avoiding this thread like the plague.... I suspect he's terrified we'll mention Jack Billings or 1966*. :drunk::rainbow:

Shame, I'd like to hear what he thought of the non-call against Kennedy last night when he shoved his opponent square in the back before kicking the sealer.
