Alright, it was a hard selection but i've decided to go for a Sri Lankan......
Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) - Batsman
damn jolldo, i guess you owed me that. he was my next pick. it was gonna be too good to be true if he was available at pick 14.
good work so far with the speed of the draft. keep up the good work fella's as we are under the pump to complete it.
no real need to quote batsman or bowler i nmost cases, but so far well done, it was more so on players like flintoff, bravo, kallis and j taylor

yeah i gave great thought to that.
but at the end of the day there aren't many keepers and some of them play as a batsmen on occasions too. if you keeper gets injured or retires i'm guessing because of the lack of keepers about not everyone will have a keeper as a reserve.
at the end of the day yes the keeper will pick up more catches than other players but generally there batting average is lower than that of a specialist batsmen. keepers may not bat twice in a test match on occasions at times as well, so if you want to pick more than 1 keeper, than knock yourself out.
this is one reason why the substitution rule was changed. murph had gilly in 2008 and he retired in january, he was allowed to replace him. as all keepers were taken he had no choice but to take whoever took over the gloves from gilly in haddin. in reality he's cashed in coz haddin's scored way more than someone like akmal (pakistan didn't play a test in 2008).
