geez the draft is pumping along at this time of day....i wonder how the rebels are travelling :D

anyways i'm up and will pick in a few mins.

what i will get everyone to do on their 15 is complete is to post their entire team:

*in batting order (to make it look like a team).
*please make your bowlers numbers 8-11 in batting order
*then name your 4 subs (listing your 2 bats first followed by the 2 bowlers)
*nominate your team captain who is worth double points (remember if he is replaced, your replacement unfortunately ISN'T worth double points)
*please come up with a team name.

pick 116 - loopy (1 bowler)
pick 117 - team mo (1 bat)
pick 118 - jolldo (1 bat)
pick 119 - dig (1 bowler)
pick 120 - fitzroos (1 bowler)

ok the aim is to complete the draft today (one week - fantastic effort fella's)

loopy you have until 10am then team mo is up. :thumbsu:

I was thinking that at the end of the draft period, we have a trade period. Teams can trade 2 players for 1 etc at the risk of losing a substitute which become very handy towards the end of the year.
Anyone agree?

good in theory but it ain't happening champ (unless you want to run the whole thing)

trading for 2 for 1 etc gets tricky, i want to simply the scoring and keeping a handle on things, not make it more complicated.
also trading needs to be announced prior to a draft so people can pick strategically.i sure as hell would've picked up a few handy players i didn't need to hold for ransom to get a superstar i missed out on.

besides people will think that trading that they are only trying to rip others off and be stubborn and not make trades in the end. also you need to consider the team selection restrictions etc as well.

the draft was made for exactly that - to draft your squad of 15. we already have 4 back up players as it is.

2 for 1, not good.

But trading could be a good option...there's time before the new year, maybe a 3-4 day period for people to sus it out. If no trades go through then none go through.

ok, happy for a trade period, only until december 30th, so sides are finalised by december 31st.

trades can only be 1 for 1, keeping in mind of team restrictions.

unlikely any will go thru but i'll try my luck (all trades to be made here)

ok blue dimension, hows oram for mills :D
(don't come back and offer me southee for mills either...just a yes or no :thumbsu:)
