Final siren at the 2000 GF.

Watching Lloyd kick 13 goals against Sydney at the MCG.

Being right near Slasher Moorcroft when he took 'that mark'.

The day Sir James was born. ;)

J Hird Rd 3 2004 v West Coast

Also one that may differ to the norm. Essendon v Collingwood in 2005. Rd 20 or something like that. Rainy friday night at the G. Ball gets kicked towards our 50. Hird stands there and with one hand in the air the ball just lands there and he controls it no problem. You have to remember it was a wet greasy ball so that was just insane. Then he turned around and off about one step thumped the ball right through the middle for a goal.

Tough one, but i just can't go past the 1993 Grand Final. To have been alive to witness us beat that filth in a Grand Final was the greatest single moment i've had as an Essendon supporter. They just beat us in the first final without 5 of our best 10 players, but they were still all arrogant coming into the Grand Final. For them not to have even a sniff of victory meant that i could soak-in the entire afternoon. It was bliss!!

93 was the most fun year to be a supporter. And my favorite moment was when David Calthorpe (!!) burst from the middle and kicked those goals. I couldn't stop laughing!

i know its a bit left field but last years clash against wce [not rd 22] and like fletch punching it in the final 30 seconds and getting us across the line in a nail bitter

also 84 gf 2000 gf
round 22 against wce lucas with 7 [just the last quater though]
:)good thread:):thumbsu::thumbsu:

Michael Longs bouncing goal in the 1993 GF with SOS pleading with the goal umpire that he touched it.

It was game over after that magic moment.

The prelim win over Adelaide in 93 was also a big one after trailing by 7 goals at the main break.

Last quarter of 84 Grand final.

Moorcrofts mark. The game was boring as, everyone was half asleep, not much excitement, then just before half time up he went. I remember going for a walk at half time just thinking f... what a mark, words couldn't describe it.

Nth Melb. comeback.

Vs Eagles when Hird kicked the winner then vs Eagles 2007 after a terrible 1st quarter

Everyone of Tim Watsons games. Football was better to watch back then with crumbing and reading the play combined with pack marks,

Whats everyones favorite single moment in afl history, whether it is a big mark, goal, hit or win?
Liked Moorcrofts screamer in the square:thumbsu:
Really enjoyed the elimination final against the Dees a few years back. Can still vividly remember Hird throwing the ball into the air after the final siren. Magic.

The win against the Bombers in 2000 :thumbsu:

The kick by Chris just before the siren that game simply magic :thumbsu:

;)

Honestly though i was about 12 years old at the time and that game really got to me i have never screamed so loud at the Tv in a single game and just simply loved watching my favorite player ever ( Chris Grant ) do his thing. !!
