My top 5 in no order. I thought I'd throw in Bruce Lindner, I reckon a very good underated player, only played 60 odd games with the Cats though, but watching footage love the way he played.

-Linder (as above, lovely mark and nice kick a true footballer)
-Bartel (once again a footballers footballer, lovely classical player)
-Ablett Snr (The most natural talented player to play in the VFL/AFL on his day incredible)
-Matthew Scarlett (superb full back just brilliant, his reading of the play is exceptional and loyal to the absolute core)
-Brad Ottens (possibly an odd selection but I think hugely underated in his important to the Cats recent flags, dominant big man who I thought made Geelong a fantastic rather than a great side....the key ingredient they couldnt cover)

I like Johnson, he's so underrated for what he produces in goal assists and scoring opportunities for Geelong every single week and his influence on matches cannot be questioned. I have him up there with best I have seen.
Buddha Hocking was awesome but Bartel has gone past him now and Selwood will end up surpassing him as well.
If Gary Jnr was still a Cat, he'd be number 2 or 3.

1. Ablett snr
2. Johnson
3. Scarlett
4. Selwood
5. Bartel
