Couple of new faves

Founders IPA is very nice and I prefer it over Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale and Torpedo for now.

The new batches don't seem to have the flavour they had. May just be me though.

Onto my second case of Founders Breakfast Stout. Still love to have just one per night.

I prefer Founders over Sierra Nevada every day of the week.

The Centennial IPA is magnificent at a reasonable price.

COOPERS DARK ALE.

Tried the Townsville Brewery's Bandito Loco the other day. A Mexican lager with a healthy 5% alcohol, well worth trying if you can get your hands on it.

I am working my way through a six pack of Ballast Point IPA. For a dan murphy stocked beer with a silly looking fish on the label, it's actually not a bad drop.

Hofbrau Dunkel six pack for 22 dollars... Wasn't sure if it was actual value, but by god it'll be one of the best drops you can buy...

Went to the opening of Nomad Brewery. They are a startup half owned by Leonardo Di Vincenzo, who is Birra Del Borgo. Coming out with 3 initial beers which were all quality. Interestingly they went with an almost mid strength pale ale as their main range, the keg version is 4% but thr bottled version will be 3.7-8 but labelled as sub-4.0 because they don't want people to focus on the ABV and more on the taste. Definitely doesn't taste close to mid strength. Will do down well as a summer session.

Their bottled IPA is using the newly found Victorias Secret hop, which is like Galaxy on steroids. Very nice. Can taste the difference to the keg version which doesn't use VS

Their other is a solid Saison. Really spicy. Really good.

Bridge Road's have been using Vic Secret for a few years now.

Had been available to brew with just not commercially available apparently.

It's good.

Tonight I knocked off a Sam Adams Tasman red IPA, and a few Schlafly Oatmeal stouts.

Tomorrow night I'm off to the local craft beer bar, where they will have Stone's 18 year anniversary IPA on tap, and also a special firkin of Stone's Coffee Milk Stout that has been infused with vanilla beans. And I get some free Stone's pint glasses as well
