I actually switched from following NSW-coloured Sturt to Swans-coloured North after the Grand Final where Craig Burton kicked that miraculous goal....and that was it.

Call me a reverse bandwagoner. That lose really attracted me to North; I kinda felt I could bond with them in the sympathy-giving role I had adopted following the Swans over the years. I felt sorry for the, so went for them!

NORTH ADELAIDE, the Good Old Red and Whites!!!! :)

JF

PS:- How a born and bred NSWman could take to following the SANFL, a long story. But I don't regret it one bit!

Us Rooster fans don't like the 1989 Grand Final mentioned JF. It was a day that I have conveniently cleared from my memory.

I have supported Port Adelaide since I was 7 or 8 years old. And I also support who ever is playing Central District this week bloody ferals. There going to have night footy at NAP oval soon can you imagine the trouble down there at night it's bad enough during the day.

Maybe you should just stay in Legoland.

Am a Victorian...went to a SANFL match in 1986, Souths vs Woodville...rest of the family went for Souths, I went for the Warriors, and have followed them ever since.

Know former player Josh McLoughlan pretty well, so I wear my WWT socks with pride at training!!!

Norwood always and forever.

I went to the SANFL vs VFL a few weeks ago and it took me back to the good old days going to see the Legs play week in week out. I miss Coopers hill, real cheer squads and singing 'Its a grand old flag'. I even got my Redlegs scarf out for the game.

Must go see them next time I am in Adelaide.

Centrals. I was over in SA for a 6 weeks and became good mates with the Gowans twins. Top blokes, good players too.
Go Doggies!

I grew up at the Glenelg Oval, many fine memories from that ground :)
Sounds like you have great taste TooFar! Many happy memories from Brighton Road....many ********ing sad ones as well!! The Tigers, the Pride of the Bay. Super, Snout, Studley, Noddy, Fred, Butch, Cobbles, Spotty, Bomber, Horse, Moose, Max, Symo, Bone, Rocket....the list of greats goes on.

We only ever had one thing that blocked us from being the greatest club of the last 50 years.....Grand Finals!
