She was dreadful and that is being pretty nice. Surely by now we needed to get some better doubles options.
That isn’t taking anything away from France I like their team. Kiki won the tie in that singles match today. We were toast after that.

Have to feel for Barty. Finishing YE#1 emphatically by winning the Finals, and then losing two crucial Sunday rubbers in the Fed Cup final. Not the shift into the off-season she deserved.

If Kyrgios gets his shit together they could win Davis Cup with the switch to Bo3 sets. Nick good enough to beat anyone Bo3. AdM would be a better #2 than most countries have.

Fed Cup and for that matter Davis Cup are bonus things. She ended number 1, with a Grand Slam that’s the main thing and adding to these Slams should be the forefront for her anyway
