Re: FFGenie 2010.1

Yep, sorry about that - should look harder before I post (new to this). Those fixes seem to be for windows, any suggestions for a MAC?

Re: FFGenie 2010.1

I have deleted every file associate with FFGenie and reintroduced v 2012.2 but still get the same error. Any other suggestions?

Re: FFGenie 2010.1

As mentioned before, I have deleted all files I thought relevant to FFgenie. No luck. Filters, trade wizard and user teams all not working for me. Perhaps other MAC users in your forums have a solution?

Trying to use filter gets this error:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: null
ffg.gui.table.filter.UserTeamKey.getUserTeams(UserTeamKey.java:78)
ffg.gui.table.filter.UserTeamKey.getDefaultValue(UserTeamKey.java:64)

java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:676)

Trade Wizard gets this error:

Re: FFGenie 2010.1

No you don't understand, when you say all files relevant to FFGenie, I doubt you included the ones written by the application to a location on your computer specific to your username because you would have mentioned it otherwise. I don't know MACs so I can't help you any further, perhaps some googling will help.

Re: FFGenie 2010.1

Potentially dumb question but are the projected price rises after Round 1 based on the assumption that the player scores the same score in Round 2 & 3 as he did in Round 1?

Love this program - just downloaded 2012.2 tonight, and all updated with Rnd 1 scores... but cant get user team to work... whether I use login details, team id, it just says "Couldnt FindTeam Name" ... ??

Just a suggestion....have you tried using the "Load" button, and loading all the teams in your leagues. If that works, your team will be one of them, and you can delete any others you don't want there.

Cheers that worked... still wont load from the individual team loading options - but that league loading way worked

Hi grimlock,

When I went to update data from round 2 using the 'Update Last' button the update froze at 94.05%. This happened for both DT & SC. I clicked cancel, didn't save the information and then tried again 24 hours later only for the same thing to occur.

Just thought that I'd give you a heads up as I can't work out what I'm doing wrong from my end.

Grimlock,

When i loaded my league into genie after round 2 i worked out my opponents remaining salary cap by total salary cap - team value. I entered their salry cap left into the box provided under 'user teams'-'edit'.

After the update this week all my opponents remaining salary caps are now on $0. Is it possible to make this feature update automatically? Or am i going to have to work out who they traded last week and then find out player values from last week? It would be a great fetaure if we knew how much money our opponents had come finals time!

Hi Chazz,

Yes that was the original function but it was proven that you cannot deduce the amount of cash left correctly. I don't have the details but it's somewhere in this thread.

Can you download this anymore? All I can find is the web launch.

Hi grimlock,

When I try to update the data I'm encountering the same issues this week that I had last week and I have no idea why.

I press 'Update Last' and it freezes at the same point each time. For DT this week it is at 88.11%. For SB it is at 94.05% - the exact same point it was at last week. I have tried on 3 different occasions and had the exact same result each time. When I updated SC it worked perfectly.

I tried the 'Update All Rounds' button and it froze at 99.88% for DT. I tried a second time, this time loading data from round 1 before pressing 'Update All Rounds' and it worked. I would hate to have to do this every week though.

EDIT - The SB update froze again at 99.76% using the 'Update All Rounds' button and loading the round 1 data first.

I have made sure that I have closed all other programs and applications before I run FFGenie and press the Update buttons. I have been using FFGenie for years and am familiar with its use and updating method. I'm at a loss as to what I'm doing wrong here.

Any suggestions?
