It's probably a good trade off for them not being part of rivals - I didn't mind chasing them in rivals as I was building points there too but on the flip side they've been out for two days and I've got all tokens bar La Liga (and have six wins left in the SB tokens). Means I can still focus on the other content and not be too stressed with the normal grind.

The introduction of all of those packs is also great, can pretty much take all of the untradeable packs and still ensure an icon.

Loving these Freeze cards, just added Gaya as my new striker for my La Liga squad. Looking forward to getting Casemiro as a CB.

I've packed both, once - TOTY Ronaldo in the last promo of FIFA 20 (when they were all in packs and the packs were 94+ players or something like that) so the game was dead, and then got Messi this game in the first couple of days (from a 7500 pack). It's crazy how much Messi in particular has dropped, was 1.2mil when I packed him and is sub 500k now.
 
Got garbage from my tradeable rewards this week (nothing above 80) so i decided to do a bunch of the double 81+ upgrades and pulled Van Dijk, Mendy, Suarez, Chiellini, FUT Freeze Torriea, Oblak and Joe Gomez. Untradeable packs this year have given me better cards than tradeable packs.

by a bunch, you mean like 200 right? That's an insane return from anthing less.
 
Loving the Freeze Gaya as my new striker but he was my left back before this so I keep wondering why my left back has come so far forward.
 
Also Beckham with Catalyst is so fun to play with.

Yeah, it's a breeze.

Apparently it's filtered over to the silver objectives too which I doubt was EA's plan.

Unsure if I should go for a baby icon or just grab the 25x 83+ pack. Feel like I’d rather just get the bulk players, the only icon I’m really keen on is Figo.

The 25 x 83 looks like a must get, especially with TOTW on the horizon.

I'm definitely taking the 25x83 and 5x85 and will either take the 2xUltimate and Baby Icon or the Baby or Mid Icon pack (likely the latter by that stage of the game).
 
Whenever someone doesn’t forfeit after I score I get genuinely enraged.

Depends on the situation. If they go the cheese from the kick off with guys like Rashford, Mbappe etc....then i stayed in the game because i knew i could get two back on them before halftime. But if i found myself down by 2 after 20 minutes I'd give them the win.

People who quit at scores level though because their opponent didn't quit are toxic as hell and it's absoloute bullshit that it's not a W for those who didn't quit.

I usually just let them pause during my celebration and if they don’t quit I try to run them off the park.

Won’t lie my 6 French wins were all solo runs from loan Mbappe.
