The City of Ballarat is abuzz with excitement this week as the Roosters prepare for a tilt at back-to-back VFL premierships.

With just four days remaining until the big clash against the Northern Bullants, every player on the list is vying for a prized spot in the Grand Final team.

They’ll all have their chance to prove their worth on Tuesday as the squad goes through its paces in an open training session at Eureka Stadium in Ballarat.

Supporters are invited to see their North Melbourne heroes including Aaron Edwards, Ed Lower and Josh Smith, as well as stars of the VFL like Myles Sewell in their main training session for the week.

Grab your favourite player's autograph before the session, and enjoy the finals atmosphere that only comes around once a year.

What: North Ballarat training
Where: Eureka Stadium, Ballarat
When: 5.30pm, Tuesday 22nd September

Ballarat is a really nice city. Often stop there on way between Adelaide and Melbourne. Anyway is there some way Interstaters can watch the VFL Grand Final on Friday night?

We have Foxtel, but can anyone suggest what we can do (in SA).

The VFL Grand Final is being shown live across Australia on ABC HD from 7pm Friday night

Any idea if it is being shown in Sydney at all for those with Foxtel but not a HD set top box?

I'm hoping it's on the Foxtel ABC HD channel so I can iQ it to watch later, but it's not coming up on the online tv guide. I hope that changes!
