Resource Finals tickets and membership questions

Is it pretty unlikely to get a ticket as a non member? Kind of a lottery thing? I was going to try at 3 when it is opened to general sales but they’ll likely all be gone?
I was going to finally join this year, but decided to wait another year because of small children and covid uncertainty! Stupid practical decision

Cheeky bastards at the AFL have bumped up the category of seat of most of the stadium....pretty much the entire first 2 levels are cat 1 or 2

my old seats (2nd level, behind the goals eastern end) are usually cat 4 and they've made them cat 1, shameless.

If I'd known they were going to use a queue set up, I would've logged on heaps earlier. Jumped in about 10 mins before, so only about 2,500 (at the first status update, at least) before me, thankfully

You did better than me. I had the page open for 45 minutes with no sign of a queue watching it count down, then having to refresh to see anything, then getting in the queue.

they randomise it anyway, hopped on my phone as well as a browser as i was having wifi issues and the phone was actually earlier in the queue despite joining later

Logging in early does not help, queue is randomised when it opens. I joined one minute to go and was around 2000 in the queue.

I'm waiting to hear from hubby about our tickets - I'm sure he is frustrated by now - their internet connection in West Perth is sooo slow! I can't believe they have Bulldogs members entitled to purchase tickets at the same time (when it is a Freo home game). They are sure to have thousands of bandwagon members by now.

Yeah for the grand final I had it open on 5 devices and just lucked out with one of them

Not bad, better food and drink options, lots of space to chill out in during the breaks.

IIRC correctly seats are closer to one of the sets of goals than the middle
