Zero chance he is leaving. GWS will have the money now
Yeah not going crazy over budget to keep players recently and with under value pickups of Hogan/Stringer I think we should be able to retain Finn and Cadman pretty comfortably.
Finn is Kingsley's favourite too so I'm hoping he signs the contract early on.

Gws will keep him but it will cost them a lot $$ wise.

Which is probably why they were happy not to match bigger deals for perryman.

Perryman, Cumming, Peatling....
It's probably going to be a long contract a kin to Kelly or Cogs (who still have a few years to go). I think he's worth it in there with Green

I think he is worth it but it will cost a lot and require movement on other contracts. Like cadman he will cost a lot to keep but you should have the $.

almost never worth it these 7/8 year deals. kelly and conglio definitely worth it when they signed it but a couple of injury interrupted years made both deals look crap at that time and injuries happen to everyone.

only lance franklyn deal was worth it looking back, maybe alistair lynch?

The long contracts were worth it until they werent...

Or, they were never worth it. Buddy missed 2 years of football over his time at Sydney and they didnt win a flag. He may have been happy with the lifestyle chsnge but the Swans expected flags.

is not always about flags especially in a volatile market like sydney. yes they would have prefered to jag a flag or two but Franklin marketability over the 10 years has been priceless for the swans. they do it all over again even if they know he could only get them to few losing GFs.

And the stability of keeping two leaders like Kelly and Cogs was invaluable to building the culture at the Giants. Young club that needed those young stars to stay.
If Perryman is picking up a 6 year deal to go to the Pies....I am 100% throwing 6-7 at Callaghan.
1. It's what's required to keep him coz half of Vic will be after him.
2. Really good player who complements our game plan and is the coaches fav.

I wouldnt take back Dusty's 7 year deal
sure his last 2 years were 'iffy' but had very good reasons with the kidney laceration and death of his father

Deserved every cent and year he got

The 21 year big 192cm midfielder is out of contract and will be one of the most in demand players as vic clubs try to bring him home next year

What’s he worth?

will get extreme offers one would think to stay and to go ..so just depends on where he wants to play…. was he from the area that Stk wish to utilise as a recruiting advantage?

he’s the type of player every club would love to have. You’d expect he’d get around 1.5M a year for as many years as he wants. Plus possibly raises tied to cap growth.

Just depends if he wants a shorter 5-7 year deal to sign another contract in his prime or lock in 10 years now.

As far as trade market goes. Something equivalent to what GWS got for Jeremy Cameron seems fair. It’s gonna be very expensive for whatever club gets him.

Certainly hasn't proved to be a 1.5mil player just yet but everyone can see that he's going to be a beast. He kinda has it all (maybe including dodgy shoulders).
Speed, skill, size, smarts.
I'm hoping the Giants lock him away early...don't want to be stressing about it all season

Dogs into him massively ive heard. Might have some cash freed up too due to recent events.

Will need mids to deliver to Sam Darcy for the next decade, and Callaghan and Sanders could be the guys.

Treloar and Libba both out of contract and will likely be due pay cuts from current contracts.

Interesting.
You'd imagine he'd suit a lot of teams with a young core. Bloody hope he doesn't go anywhere.
Dogs have so much money locked up in that forward line.
Giants coming off Cogs/Kelly/Whitfield big contracts has to help as well.
Not taking on Perryman/Cumming/Peatling has to have helped our situation.

Not much cash tied up anywhere else though besides Bont and Richards, maybe Dale. Our back line is mostly journeymen types, and Libba and Treloar are approaching the end of their careers.
