Something better would be turning up and walking out at Q time for the whole second quarter returning HT
Or for Collingwood Walk out at Half Time and Comeback for 4th qtr
Or for a complete walk out at half time with everyone returning for the start of the third quarter.

Might head out for my first game since last years granny if all these knobs decide to leave at the bounce.

Prelim/GF were insanely packed, took you half an hour to take a piss, a less crowded ground would be nice.
Half an hour?
I’d be getting that checked out...

My seats at the G are under cover on level 2 of the Ponsford. 15 sec walk to the Legends Bar.

Win / win
Fabulous seat, very you.

:beercheers:

I’m only at Ponsford away games otherwise lower level boundary area. I’m very fond of my spot.
You do grow attached in a way.

A truly meaningful protest...would be to order a pint of beer in the Legends Bar, then refuse to drink it !
nb I’ll be the bloke behind you, eyeing off your beer.

I'd like the corporates to protest by not buying tickets to the grand final. And, if people could buy beers then leave them at the counter , I really think that would help me...umm I mean the cause. Someone should also look into handing out "Protest sausages" at the gate.

Nice to see you J84.
Much missed.

Agree let’s have sausages and not just a boiled one but those kransky style ones.

Great on everyone else having a moan but not having a solution and would rather sit there and watch the whole match while the league turns to ****. I applaud you.

Sh$t solution dude.

Now that’s going too far!

"When the muppets running our league dictate what we can and can't do at a football and decide we can no longer proudly support our team, eventually, we the supporters fight back.

With the Collingwood Vs Bulldogs fixture coming up we encourage supporters to either turn up or don't. if you turn up join the masses and leave the Marvel Stadium once that first ball is bounced. Give the muppets running our once proud sport an idea of what it's like when they f**k over the people that line their pockets."

I admire you, what great suggestion for all supporters to implement we have to stand up to the Nanny state attitude, Gil the Dil has gone too far.
We’ll be asked to remain seated in our seats and cheer with passion in a politically correct fashion next.
Far to sanitized, Gil is enjoying a salary of 3M dollars a year and this is the direction of the game. The suits have us by the knackers .

But you barrack for Carlton.

Ofcourse it’s easy to walk out before the game.

Be almost mandatory I reckon.

:D

If they've already got our money we should just accept the mediocrity organisation that its become, right?

All I'm hearing from people is excuses and moaning from people. We all want a resolution and someone to act on it, then when someone has a solution we **** on the idea of it. That's exactly why the league is the way it is right now. Far too much loyalty. In the end loyalty gets you nowhere.
How about this one: since youll all be heading to Marvel Stadium anyway, how about you just switch up the "walking in taking your seat bit then getting up and walking out at the first bounce" bit for "assembling in front of AFL House prior to the game, at the first siren the mob launch themselves like a pack of rabid looters during martial law at an electronics store, breaking down the doors and smashing in the floor to ceiling glass windows along the whole front perimeter, run through the place upending desks, chairs, photocopiers and whatever else isnt bolted down, then exit through the back underground entrance that takes you into the carpark underneath Marvel Stadium, which the mob will then scatter in various directions and make their way up to the stadium levels to take their seats and watch the remainder of the game".

I think thats probably going to get the AFL's attention more than a walkout protest after patrons have already paid their entry fee and gate tickets counted.
