I did say my first picks were subject to change. Though, it doesn't change the fact most of the Eagles fans are homers. ;)

Anyway, here's what I'll go with

1. St. Kilda
2. Port Adelaide
3. Brisbane Lions
4. Geelong
5. Sydney Swans
6. West Coast Eagles
7. Melbourne
8. Carlton
9. Fremantle
10. Collingwood
11. Essendon
12. Kangaroos
13. Adelaide
14. Hawthorn
15. Western Bulldogs
16. Richmond

that ladder is relying way too much on the form of this year, the form turn arounds of st kilda, geelong, melbourne, hawthorn from '03 to '04 put a bit of doubt into this theory

1. St Kilda (up and coming)
2.Port Adelaide (always do good in h&a)
3.West Coast (gardiner and an improving list)
4.Geelong (imprving list)
5.Collingwood (less inuries)
6.Brisbane (getting on a bit)
7.Essendon (around the mark)
8.Carlton (ditto)
9.Adelaide (home ground advantage)
10.Fremantle (over-rated list)
11.Richmond (tough coach)
12.Bulldogs (some improvement over rhode)
13.Sydney (i just dont like them much)
14.Melbourne (odd year)
15.Roos (very old list , alot of retirements soon)
16.Hawthorn (they're just poor)

1. Geelong
2. St Kilda
3. West Coast
4. Port Adelaide
5. Brisbane
6. Collingwood
7. Sydney
8. Carlton
9. Essendon
10. Melbourne
11. Fremantle
12. Hawthorn
13. Western Bulldogs
14. Richmond
15. Adelaide
16. Kangaroos

For the 3rd year running North will be touted as spooners !!!!

St. Kilda
Geelong
Port Adelaide
West Coast
Brisbane
Sydney
Collingwood
Richmond
Essendon
Carlton
Fremantle
Kangaroos
Adelaide
Western Bulldogs
Hawthorn

Haven't included us - too unpredictable.

I think people are overating West Coast, they will be good I believe but I suggest something round 4th-6th.

And only 1 person has picked Brisbane in the top 4. I think they will delcine but will still finish 3-4th.

Otherwise most other people are about right.

ROOS FOR THE SPOON, SAINTS FOR THE MINOR FLAG IN 2005.

Again North are tipped to bomb out.

BTW, our 'very old list' consists of Glen Archer, Anthony Stevens, Cory McKernan and Sav Rocca.
Three full-time veterans dones not a 'very old' list make.
