My parents watched the original Matlock religiously. That and Murder She Wrote. Their must-see-without-question was Wheel of Fortune at 6:30pm after dinner. I'm watching it every afternoon at 2pm on Ch 10. Only took about 40 years for it to be shown here.

No spoilers!

Just kidding, I watched those with my grandma when I was a kid.

My mum loved murder mystery type shows. We got the Lifetime Movie Channel so she could watch them every weekday at noon, right after she watched the Catholic Mass on EWTN at 11. She didn't like the rom coms. Give her a good murder with infidelity involved or a kidnapping.

I'm kicking myself now for not attending around those COVID years. Going with heavily restricted numbers would have been awesome.

But yeah I hear you re. the tournament, that sucks.
Yeah 2022 was great with the 50% cap. You could move between courts and watch whichever match you wanted. It reminded me of the "good old days". Now if you've got a ground pass, you have to pick a court and stay there for the whole day, otherwise you'll be lining up for hours to get a seat at another court.

I shouldn't complain because we are so lucky to have a Grand Slam in our city that we can go to.

Yeah that's what we do if I ever go- set up camp about 10 rows behind a baseline at Hisense.

It's been a while tho, I reckon the last time I went was 2018/19.

Yeah for sure, we are lucky. What over 200 countries in the world and there are 4 GSs. Not to mention how back in the 80s what a complete basket case this tournament was and hardly any big name players wanted to actually play in it. It's come a long way since then.

You can't sit behind the baseline anymore with a ground pass at Hisense (now called John Cain Arena). They got greedy and it's now ticketed behind both ends of the court. Last year we had to sit on the sides of the court.

Sons of bitches!!! When I went roughly the first 8 rows were ticketed.
