I was lucky because I was able to get Austudy, so I was able to pay my fee up front and receive a 30% discount.

In my final year of university, bloody Amanda Vanstone changed the assets test for Austudy to include the family home, so I couldn't get Austudy that year. I was so pissed off at her . I still get triggered every time I see her on tv all these years later!
