Reckon our first 3 games will look like this
R1 v Carlton Thursday night (that doesn’t count as a prediction really)
R2 v Collingwood Thursday night
R3 v GWS (in Sydney) Friday night

Which is funny since it’s identical teams to last year

Bullflogs at Marvel is an annual occurrence, Norf at the 'G will be relocated as they can't find the joint. Blues/Bombers/pies twice is a massive win for our commercial dept.

I think our double ups are as follows:

Collingwood, GWS, West Coast, North Melbourne and Essendon. There is no requirement for the AFL to fixture a top 6 team with a bottom 6 double up, so we may be treated like Geelong have been in the past and get no bottom 6 team twice.

If we are getting a bottom 6 team twice, then I think our double ups will be:
Collingwood, West Coast, North Melbourne, Essendon and Sydney.

We are playing the pies in round 2 on a Thursday, Carlton going into round 3 with a 5 day break. Already confirmed Carlton are having 2 out of first 3 Thursdays which is rounds 1 and 3.

Essendon getting kissed on dick with three bottom 6 teams to start year and one of those of a 5 day break.
