This has been such a fantastic competition. Massif thanks to fancyscum for putting it together, always updating the hub thread with nice on-theme graphics and always getting the polls up in a timely fashion.

It's the best executed competition and probably the most enjoyable I've seen in the last couple of years.

Cheers, I think part of what has made it so good is the sheer amount of people that got involved, really impressive for a non-footy competition.

Never was a fan of soccer designing before this comp and was glad that I was able to participate. Next time I'll definitely be putting together a proper design
Where does these sort of comps go on from here? We have FLO which is great, but I do really enjoy the international theme of a world cup. Perhaps Asian Cup next year or FA Cup?

There's probably some fatigue there. The World Cup was short and sharp while FLO is longer. We'll also had a boatload of weekly comps recently.

The great thing about this competition is that most design elements can appear on a football jersey and national teams have a lot of inspiration to draw from with colours, imagery and past kits. Hard to match.

Kinda spooky how France, Sweden and Croatia made it so far in this comp, just like they did in real life (except Sweden )

Congratulations to ScottFreo on taking out the FJGD World Cup title. A truely deserving winner after a month long competition that saw you go on an unbeaten run to the title. Thanks once again to everyone for getting involved in this tournament and I look forward to seeing you all again for Qatar in four years time.
