Too scared to lose to take the chance to win
That and a massive lack of talent up front.
TBH we've started better under Poppa than we finished under GA. But again we just don't have the talent.
Doesn't help that our best player over the last 2 years was missing.
The lack of a genuine goal scorer is killing us.
Has for a very long time, Cahill being an outlier.
As good as Viduka was he wasnt a prolific scorer for the national team. Yengi has talent but not the consistency, and Nestory doesnt play well centrally. Luca Jovanovic shows some definite promise but we need someone quickly.
To think John Aloisi barely started for the NT at his peak, he'd be head and shoulders above any current striker we have.
I just looked at our most prolific goal scorers , it appears Damian Mori is still top 5 with 29 goals
Dude retired from the A league in 2011, and that's not even the worst of it.
