I agree. It's a fair bet that some Ch 9 people would stress about what time to put it on each weekYes! But probably so they can align the Sydney-Melb-Brisb schedule

Why even stop when the season stops? Most of their content has nothing to do with games, especially the Monday night show. Wednesday at least has Lyon try to do a bit of game analysis.I'm sure this gets said every year, but why is the show before the Grand Final always the last one for the year? Surely you'd do a post GF show.

There’s still so much going on that the show wouldn’t drop in quality in the off season. Even get a chance to try some new presenters.
What did Hutchy say?On their Sounding Board podcast the other day, Barrett had an amusing crack at Hutchy about not having a post-Grand Final show.
Gimme a minute. I find where it is on the podcast. Barrett said something like, "you go ALL year, making predicts about the Premiers, review most games, then you say nothing about the most important game of the season"What did Hutchy say?
Cheers.35m55s into it

There's enough stories to keep them going for a while.Cheers.
Hutchy gave two reasons:
1. Can't be bothered.
2. "We're a show about the stories around the game" - like there's not plenty to talk about 48 hours after the Grand Final.
You just have to think “ what’s ****ing next” ?Essendon alone have given them enough material for a month, surely.
Jobe taking the position? You just have to think “ what’s ******* next” ?
Nothing is beyond them.Jobe taking the position?
Bucks? With Ross Lyon going back to coaching, who should replace him on the Wednesday edition?
Bucks?
Not sure if Fox/9 would allow that.If the show wants a like for like replacement, a recent senior coach that has taken a side as far as the grand final, he might fit the bill.
You might be right but Eddie is on FC and calls games on Fox Footy. So it is not impossible. Not sure if Fox/9 would allow that.
1. He doesn't call for Fox Footy anymoreYou might be right but Eddie is on FC and calls games on Fox Footy. So it is not impossible.
