No one is denying the guy who released it isn't a dick, but Caro barely was scathing of Tom and his comments, to the point that she was making it sound like Tom was the victim. Became apparent why when it was revealed she was close family friend.
No arguments from me that Tom is a super dick and that Caro is obviously conflicted. It would temper her reaction towards Tom. I just don’t disagree with her being scathing towards the low-life who released it. Tom Morris name is out there, the anonymous audio releaser’s name isn’t.

The comments meant nothing for Megan Barnard, who gave an excellent response and refused to take responsibility for the words of Tom browne, now let it affect her.

Yeah, if that's the case, Caro is way out of touch. Surprising given her thoughts on other social issues.
Tom is responsible for what he says, and someone else releasing what he said, well, that's still on Tom, because he said what he said to start with.
Kudos to whoever released it.
Now if Jeff Kennett said what Tom said and it was all released the same way Caro would be asking for a public stoning of JK.

None of this changes the fact that Caro spent that specific episode aggressively targetting Beveridge, and the leaker without barely mentioning Tom's wrongdoing.
She's heavily conflicted given her family friendship, and she's just emphasised that she's merely mouthpiece for AFL house, and not truely an independent journalist.

Yeah show is a lot less watchable when he is hosting unfortunately. Is Hutchy away or? Third week I think where he hasn't hosted, say what you want about him but he's a far better host for this type of show. When he challenges views it feels a lot less manufactured.
When Maclure does it, it feels like he does it with a real smugness and like he's trying to absolutely embarrass his fellow panel member. I realise it's all fake, but as a viewer I find it far easier and enjoyable watch with Hutchy hosting. And hell since he left Collingwood, even Eddie on Wednesday's has become decent.

Eddie McGuire has gone from a consumate pro to probably the worst presenter on TV. He was unwatchable last night.
It's on the main channel, but they play it after botched which bemuses me. Surely FC would rate higher, and if it doens't then why bother at all.
