Yeah give me Kane and Caro over vanilla Sloane/Lloyd and Manure every day of the weekThe 7 show is gonna demolish them. Might even do what The Front Bar did to The Footy Show in its last days.
Yeah, I'm a fan of SloaneySloane couldn't criticise ISIS if he tried. See how he goes but they hired the direct opposite to Kornes.
No different when I went to see him in Melbourne. Great guy but seemed more passionate about surfing than footy!Yeah, I'm a fan of Sloaney
(most people are to be honest) but I've never found him "engaging"
I almost used to fall asleep behind the wheel listening to his radio spots on 5AA.
It might have had to do with his football/personal situation at the time i.e Leo/Camp/Spoon/Injuries/Loss of Captaincy
but he was often overly measured & fairly guarded.
Hopefully after retirement he's loosened up a lot.
He'd have to of auditioned well
(you'd hope that's still a requirement in AFL Media!)
He's an interesting guy, well read, with life experience, played the right way, next to some legends.
But the bubble can be brutal..
are Cotchin & Selwood getting another go-round??
I guess we should just be thankful to have a Crowie on the big national stage.
Do us proud Sloane-Dog.
Maybe just don't start each show with a power stance!
