Footy Fanatic: Error in Construction

I finsihed updaing the lists and imported them. Then when trying to start a career with the new lists, it nearly completley loads and then I get an errror 3010 error in construction. I tried restarting my computor and imporitng the rosters again and it doenst seem to work. Any help would be great.

I would uninstall the game and re install it and then import again and try that. Cause i keep importing new lists but nothing is happening but before i couldnt play a career until i uninstalled a few times.

Ive uninstalled it then reinstalled it 3 times and it still isnt working. I have the feeling that I have had this problem before and there is a rather simple way to fix it. If anyone has had the same problem please help.

Otis, only two things I can of are that you have a player with an apostrophe in it, i.e you've changed OBree to O'Bree, or youve fully updated Sydney and the game can't handle a 47-player list. I'm going through club by club and testing so I might be able to find the problem.

Thanks mate I think that might be it. I'll delete some rookies then and give it another go. If it works I'll post the new lists.

Yeah got it. I have Heriter O'Brein in Collingwood. However I cant delete him because I get a run time error (3010 the same as in career mode). Anyone know how I can delete a player with an ' in a name??

I got rid of the names with ' in them. And I put all the extra players in a team called extras and it still wont work. I get the same error 3010. THis is very frustrating...If anyone thinks they can fix it, I will email the mdb file to you.

You can't have any other teams then the default 16 when starting a league. Get rid of the team "extras"

Yeah it doenst count as another team, but I deleted it anyway. And I went through the player editor and checked every player. Only one brought up an error (Ben Hudson) so I deleted him and re did him and imported the lists. It got right to the end ofthe loading (the bars were full) then I got the error. I dont know what to do, its very frustrating. Ive emailed it to soapy and sante so see what they can do. Just a note for you guys to delete Ben Hudson from the Crows.

Soapy got it working so now I just need to add a few players who needed to be deleted. So anyone who wants them yeah I dont know whats the best way to distribute it. My net connections gone really slow so i cant really email it to many people.

If your computer is running to slow for you to distribute them to everyone by email then why don't you just email them to one other person and he can get the list of who would like the 2005 lists and that person can distribute them to everyone else?

Also i read something about deleting players due to an error....is this list you have now with all of those players now recreated?

anytime i try to edit a player or delete and create somone new, it allways comes up with some error, i used to have the new lists like the 2004 ones but they never work anymore and i can only use the 2002, anyone been able to edit teams and get a season to work?

They should make a significant upgrade to the game rather than just updating the lists every year
