For those who might be interested. BLK are doing some limited edition Tasmania guernseys to celebrate 150 years of football in the state. You can pre-order up until Sunday night I think. Unsure if you can still order one after this time as they are custom made.

Thought this might be an appropriate place to post this as I haven't seen much advertising for this at all.

Best way to find it is to follow the link on the AFL TAS website.

That's pretty average, nobody should be able to purchase replica State Jumpers, they shouldn't even be produced. They are hard to earn and should be treated as such.

In a way... yes that's true. A CLUB should not be able to adopt a state guernsey when players might not have anything to do with that state other than playing for a club that is based there would be running out in it.
But at the same time, it is equally as hard (or harder) to earn a Hawthorn/Collingwood/Essendon etc guernsey, yet they are sold by the thousands to the public every year. What's the difference?

At the end of the day, those who buy their clubs guernsey are supporting their club. Those who buy this guernsey are supporting AFL Tasmania.

Do agree with your point however AFL clubs are business and actively commercialise jumpers etc to be sold specifically to generate income (which is not an issue at all) state footy is not anywhere near as commercialised. Its hard to find state based merch (NRL aside) I think rightly so. State representation is still very much about representation rather than commercialisation.

Hey guys and girls..

Just wondering if anyone would have a kids sized GCS jumper for sale??.. I would prefer the away or clash but will look at anything.. It doesn't need to be signed or anything..

Cheers

I'd recommend looking on ebay. There's plenty of kids sized ones on there

Have a few i'm looking to move on at the moment. Pretty firm on prices for the West Coast's, the others lightly negotiable. Just PM me. Cheers.
