Got to agree that last year's Friday Night Triple M team was the best I've ever had the pleasure of listening to (JB, BT, Gary, Dunstall/Spud, the Doc) and it's a damn shame it's been broken up.

However, I was a long-time Rex Hunt hater despite never having heard him commentate and hearing him over the weekend... well... he's no BT, but he's still pretty good. I'll be sticking with Triple M.

I've only been a bits & pieces Triple M listener in the past, but Rex moving over was enough to give them #1 preferance in my book, combined with the fact that Denis Cometti really gets under my skin. SEN also sounded good, Lloyd has seemed to fit in well & Malthouse had some useful stuff to contribute.

It's one feed on two different stations. It's ridiculous. Whoever signed off on that deal will have really alienated a bunch of listeners.

1494 on AM band
102.1 or 104.9 (maybe even both) on the FM band.

102.1 FM would be Wangaratta, while 104.9 FM and 1494 AM are Albury.

Seriously, that's strange - two of the 3 Albury stations take AFL Footy, and both of them take the same call!!! WTF???

I'm sure 104.9FM doesn't take football, and if it did, it must have been Saturday or Sunday afternoon, when I wasn't listening. I also heard that they were taking Triple M, but that was a little while back.

What I know is that for Albury:
-ABC Goulburn Murray 106.5 FM takes the same coverage as ABC 774
-2AY 1494 AM takes the new Crocmedia regional-areas only coverage
-The River 105.7 takes the 3AW coverage (except Saturday night)
-Edge FM 102.1 (from Wangaratta) also takes the Crocmedia coverage (except Saturday Night)
