I just used this it it seems that they are 2004 list. Wayne Carey, Nigel Smart and Ronnie Burns are still playing for the crows.

What's wrong?

And yes, I did import it correctly.

OK, musha, I've uploaded the wrong thing. I definitely have it done, but what file(s) do I need to upload.

Musha I just tested it and it works.

You need to the following to get it work.

To Import a new roster slot from a .mdb file:
1) Press Create New
2) Enter a name for the new roster slot, make sure you do not give it a name already used
3) A dialog box will then pop up instructing you to locate the .mdb file you wish to import
4) Navigate to where you have saved the file and click OPEN
5) You can now press IMPORT and the new Roster Slot will be created. If there are errors then it is most likely the .mdb file is not compatible with Footy Fanatic - AE

Link works but then when you click download I get this

Warning: mysql_connect(): Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /home/fs02/public_html/download.php on line 3
No Database Selected

Help?

It is because you didn't do what he said and didn't delete heritier o'brien's file in the magpies folder and his name in the 4 text files.

i did do that, and it still doesnt work
and now i cant even get the career to create
and i can only find 3 text files? where is number 4?
now i get the error -214767259 when trying to create the career

ok I fixed the problem and I got it running fine
all the problems are because of the collingwood player
before you import it, delete his name for the access file and all his stats
and everything will work fine and its much easier then delete him once he has been created :)

I don;'t have a good enough version of access, so can;t delete him permanently, so that is why it's like that - is it working for you guys.

Yes it is.

A mighty 92 points home win for the crows against the swans.

McLeod 30 touches from half-back.

You finding it accurate and realistic - 92 point win notwithstanding - let us know if stuff should be tweaked? Good that you are getting it to work. Can you guys rid of Heriter O'Brien with Access. And should let you all know if you edit the lists, you have to redelete Heritier O'Brien from the txt files.

If this is the one I did (cant remeber who I sent it to?) its good for the first 2-3 seasons but then it lways ********s up because there are too many good players so they want bigger contracts so the lists go down and you end up with 23 players on lists. So when they get injuries and have less then the starting 22 the game will get runtime errors and you have to start again. Ive treid tweaking the players potential and stuff to make less "well paid" players but it will take alot of tweaking whcih I cant be ********ed doing. So yeah good for a few years but I garauntee you they will stuff up.

I've only had time to play one match, but once i've done a few more i'll fill you in.

did you delete the name and data of o'brien from access before or after you imported the new lists?

to whoever created the lists, im finding problems with retirements it doesnt seem anyone retires, maybe like 4 players a year. when playing with the 2004 lists atleast 10 a year retired
because of this you cant keep the players you want and get a negative salary cap and have to let players contracts run out and let them go
example in 2004 lists crawford would retire at 31 or 32, i still have him playing at 33

Okay, I am going to download it again, and try.

For memory, I deleted him from the Tables > Ratings. Is that all u have to do?
