Faced him in a grade cricket game off a short run after he buggered his back. He was still ridiculously quick and swung it a mile.Jo Angel played 4 tests for Australia and led the WA attack for over a decade, he wasn't exactly an obscure 90s shield player.
Duncan Spencer was an obscure 90s shield player for WA, he had big wraps on him as he was quick but he was also erratic and only lasted one season.
At that stage Blewett and Martyn were handy enough medium pacers and there was Bevan. From memory Reiffell started off in the A's but got added to Australia.Strong batting order but geez the bowling attack leaves a bit to be desired.

Didn't Reiffel get added to the main team than made 12th man? From memory he was bowling well and really the one guy that could've threatened to see Australia A beat Australia and cause a few red faces amongst selectors. At that stage Blewett and Martyn were handy enough medium pacers and there was Bevan. What would be your states "No Test XI" from the 1990's?
.
If we're going 80's, Steve Milosz, WA leggie; Peter Clough, old school workhorse came to WA via TassiePeter Gonnella, one of the few blokes that used to bat in glasses
Wayne Andrews, remember he used a Grove bat which was pretty unique
Peter Cantrell. Queenslander who took 2 screamer catches as a sub fielder in an ashes test. Went on to play for the Netherlands
Brett Mulder Classic off spinner. If we're going 80's, Steve Milosz, WA leggie; Peter Clough, old school workhorse came to WA via Tassie
The footballer?Brad Green - my first ever dismissal in first grade

Nah he was going to be the next big thing in Victorian cricket in the 80'sThe footballer?
One of the funniest things I've seen in any cricket ever was at a 2001 ODD d/n game at the WACA v South Australia where Harrity was spending the evening patrolling the boundary. This group of about 4 pissed guys just kept following him around waving their arms and bowing screaming "FLAANDEEERS, FLAANDERS, FLAAANDEEEERS!!!!" Just like Homer Simpson lol. It was relentless and really loud standing out with only a very small crowd there. And if that wasn't funny enough Harrity eventually actually completely lost it (just like Ned lol) turning around and coming at them towards the fence firing back with a volley of abuse with foul language.Mark Harrity
nearly became mayor of brisbaneGreg Rowell
Not sure about 90s but I remember a few victorians from the early 2000s.
Jason Arnberger, Lloyd Mash, Nick Jewell (who also was on Richmond's list at one point)
