I'll pay someone $10 to give me an update on the following players I don't follow because I only watch Freo games:

  • Brad Hill - we won the trade
  • Griffin Logue - injured. meh trade but we miss the podcast.
  • Lachie Schulz - we won the trade.
  • Lloyd Meek - going great. good on him.
  • Darcy Tucker - ho hum. Freo heave ho.
  • Lachie Weller - we won the trade.
  • Liam Henry - Jeepers I have a sudden recurrence of an annoying rash.
  • Jessie Hogan - he's fantastic now. just wasn't meant to be at Freo. He wasn't right in the head.
  • Adam Cerra - Amiss is an upgrade. We won the trade.
  • Blake Acres - FreoFC and BigFooty undervalued him. our loss.

Thank you in advance.
Give the $10 to Snuffaluphagus, that guy's an absolute legend.

did Schultz whack Acres because of something in their pasts?
No he whacked him because Acres whacked him in the chest (Schultz tried to get Acres at the same time and missed) and small man syndrome jumped out and he decided he needed to try and king hit him to make up for it

Wow, so we never should have let Hogan and Meek go but all the rest can suffer in their jocks?

Not bad.
Hogan was never going to work here with either club. The media made sure of that. But Jesse never did himself any favours. He is in a place of almost anonimity.
I think the club would have loved to kerp Meek , but he was never going to get a berth full time. I think he and the club parted on the best terms. I wish him all the best

Happy for Meek.
Think Henry had non-football fish to fry and Melbourne suits nicely.
Sad for Weller who was terrific for us (well, as a trade piece).
Schultz just annoys me. Losing passionate players hurt

Brad Hill - solidly in St Kilda's best 18. Flashes of the player that won a Doig, but mostly coasts through games. Started off his contract at St Kilda as trash but got better from about halfway through his second year.

Griffin Logue - started last season in North's team. Then did an ACL and is still rehabbing.

Joel Hamling - a repeat of his last season at Fremantle. Doing well in the VFL but can't get into Sydney's AFL team. May get a chance with Tom Mccartin's concussion from Callum Brown's bump.

Lachie Schulz - seems to be playing deeper forward than he was at Fremantle and is really struggling to get involved. Suspended for punching Blacres on the weekend.

Lloyd Meek - written off as a spud by Hawthorn supporters last season, forced his way into the number 1 ruck spot this season and is in career best form.

Darcy Tucker - in and out of a deplorable North side says everything about his form/value.

Lachie Weller - in GC best side when fit, when fit seems to be not very often in the last few seasons. Crueled by injuries.

Liam Henry - decent start to the season then did a bad hamstring and has been out since. Not a big loss but he isn't terrible.

Jessie Hogan - kicked career high goals last season and was leading the Coleman before other regular contenders started kicking into gear the last 2 weeks. Never would have found this form at Freo.

Adam Cerra - when he and Brayshaw were drafted, he was supposed to be the one with x-factor. Has turned into a vanilla reliable foot soldier.

Blake Acres - Carlton fans wanted to lynch him for the first half of last season. Got major credits in their run to the finals and now seems solidly established. Brain fades and brilliance is still what he brings.

Rory Lobb - fallen behind all the key forwards and rucks at the Bulldogs. Kicking goals in the VFL, greatest achievement this season was a cheesy tiktok with his fiance (Steve Rosich's stepdaughter) and their pet dog celebrating getting paid big bucks to play VFL for the rest of his career.

That's bs.
The media would have been pumping up Hogan's tyres and sweeping anything untoward under the carpet.

I don't think the coach matters in that regard - he's not better than Naughton, Jamara or Darcy and their all significantly younger.

Welllllll the thing is, they are a ****ing disgrace down back…

Naughton should be playing back to cover…Lobb should be back up ruck for an extended period.
