I'd firstly like to thank Red Bull for the win today due to being so amateurish. 2ndly to the race stewards for allowing me to cut corners at the chichane, thank you, thank you.

If the roles were reversed, Dan would have received a drive through for the cut and block move. Completely inconsistent call to those that have been made in the past. But then, what else is news.

Once Lewis took the lead, he comfortably kept Dan at bay. Apart from that one close counter in which the stewards righty said no further action, Dan just couldn't match Lewis on the road.

The result order doesn't lie.

The blow ins that come along whenever Ricciardo's at the pointy end are always like this though. It's nothing new.

Can't begrudge Lewis the win here. He did well to stick to the Wets to Slicks strategy and pull it off - yes Ricciardo lost out as a result of RBR not having their shit together (again) - but if the pit stop had gone to plan Hamilton would have been all over Daniel. I doubt it would have been a walk in the park if the pit stop worked out, especially given the miracle longevity of the compounds.

Wouldn't have been a walk in the park but he would have been 4-5 secs up the road and able to control his pace and the race, doubt Hamilton would have been able to pass him, saw how quick Dan got on the back of him when on Inters but then stuck behind for 5 laps.

Lewis drove well but no doubt they cost Daniel the race today.

2 weekends in a row they have cooked him.
