Just because it's not pay to win, doesn't mean it's not trying to sucker you out of money. Its not. Anything you can buy is simply cosmetic only.
yes they try to 'sucker' you into buying skins that have no impact on the game, to help fund their free to play game.Just because it's not pay to win, doesn't mean it's not trying to sucker you out of money.
What the **** are you on about? I haven't proposed anything.yes they try to 'sucker' you into buying skins that have no impact on the game, to help fund their free to play game.
Their skins are very expensive, if you don't want them there is absolutely no reason to buy them. They've given you are reason not to buy them by being purely cosmetic. You either wanted them or you have god awful self control. What you are basically proposing is that a game that is free to play should have no cosmetic items on offer which is just never going to happen because they have to make money somewhere.
Why does it need to be cheap? You don’t need the cosmetic stuff? Its simply an expensive add on for them to make profit. They justify it by the sales they get from it.What the **** are you on about? I haven't proposed anything.
And there's no justification for charging the amount they do for said cosmetic items.
Value for money. At the moment, you can pay £8 for one skin. That's ridiculous. Your comment on the sales is proof that despite only being cosmetic, people still want these customisations. It's all well and good to say you don't have to buy them (and I agree, you don't) but clearly a lot of people don't have that restraint and EG are cashing in on it big time. "Free to play" but just about everyone has paid something for it (even if only for the battle passes). Why does it need to be cheap? You don’t need the cosmetic stuff? I played 2k with your friends on the weekendMy friends call me a no-skin loser when I join the lobby
You tell that by their names? What was your review?I played 2k with your friends on the weekend

I don't play it too often so i'm not actually not too bothered personally, I just find it amusing how everyone complained about the loot boxes in a single player game like Shadow of War, but charging through the nose for cosmetic items in this is fine.
It's the RyanAir of video games. You're fine if only want the very basics, anything more and it's a strain on the wallet.
Yes and also I am on same pro am teamYou tell that by their names? What was your review?
I'll try and get you into to our next Pro-Am if you're on, you can witness the true beauty of five people all trying to cut at the same time.Yes and also I am on same pro am team
I am impressed how you guys managed to win your only game played 3-0, must have been a lot of brilliant offense
Mate, you don't 'win' single player games. I'm not comparing pay to win to cosmetic only. You don't have to pay it. If you also can't tell the difference between paying for a cosmetic item and paying for one that helps you win than you're not very smart.
If you don't pay it the game still updates for you like anyone else.
Yeh and mobile games are bullshit too.Have you seen how much micro-transactions on mobile games can rip you for? People have spend 100K USD on a game like Star Wars: Galaxy Of Heroes. Standard rate for a new character is about $300-400 USD (if you arent willing to wait a few months for it to become farmable)
No problem here spending $9.99 USD for a battle pass to a game that i play every day. Not just that but getting a battle pass means you are likely to accumulate enough v-bucks from the challenges to get the battle pass for the next month. So its almost a 1-time cost.
I don’t want to discredit the talents of your mates but the shooting guard didn’t cut at all on 3’s, he just stood in the same spot on offenseI'll try and get you into to our next Pro-Am if you're on, you can witness the true beauty of five people all trying to cut at the same time.

And no, you don't have to pay for them, just like you didn't have to in shadow of war. Doesn't mean they're not a means to cash grab.
Pretty sure a Google search will turn up a few guides on how to play. If you choose not to then that's your call.Tried playing this a couple times and have no fking idea what I'm supposed to do. Looks like one of those games that's designed to sucker you into spending money on in-game items. No thanks.
Not entirely true. PS4 & Xbox can't cross-platform (with each other).Game is free and all players xbox, ps4 and pc can play on the same arena........easily the hottest game on the planet atm.
My bad, I was lead to understand that all platforms play together. Not entirely true. PS4 & Xbox can't cross-platform (with each other).
You say "a lot of people don't have that restraint and EG are cashing in on it big time". Fortnite skins, etc. are like any commodity. People will waste their money on lots of things that many consider overpriced. EG have set a price they think enough people will pay for them to turn a good profit. If enough people refuse to pay it then the price drops. Welcome to capitalism!Value for money. At the moment, you can pay £8 for one skin. That's ridiculous. If only.My bad, I was lead to understand that all platforms play together.
Loot boxes in shadow of war weren't really pay to win, rather pay to finish quicker. You weren't getting an unfair advantage to win the game. You didn't have to pay for these lot boxes either, but people cracked the shits over them none the less while this gets a free ride. What do you mean, don't win single player games?
I have no issue with games doing cash grabs for something that is a free game for all to play, you don't even need to have a PS+ sub to play it. They continually update the game as well, they are a good company, happy to support with $15 to play the seasons.
