the shield on the back is tiny, guessing it will be bigger on the PI's for players with 2 numbers, smaller for the players with 1?

Yeah both teams will. Ours is a hideous jumper too. But both are part of our histories.

How do they mess up the size of the shield this badly? The original was big enough to fit the sponsor inside.
It probably will be better on the player issues but the retail jumpers aren't cheap, they deserve to have the effort put into them.

What would it take to get the Hawks to bring back the diamonds jumper?
I'd love to see a full retro round with all 18 clubs in 1990s garish styled designs.

I'd love to see it. But the prison bar question will be an issue. Port could pretty easily argue that the retro round is just a new incarnation of the heritage round, and therefore their guarantee of wearing them in future heritage rounds needs to be honoured. There are some nice late 90s Power jumpers they could wear but you know that's not what the Port fans will want, and they won't sell as well.

I don't think it's an issue but I think it would give the AFL pause in making the Retro Round an official thing.

I don't see why not. Just make it big enough to fit them. It would look a lot better too because the sponsor logos wouldn't need white boxes around them.
