Just finished the first half and struggling to see how it can get renewed unless the second half picks up dramatically. Not a lot of laughs and some of the character development choices are puzzling. Unlike others, I didn't really notice the 'older' voices and even if they were, it's not a big deal as long as the characters were still themselves.

The mid-season finale was intriguing (don't think Futurama has delved into the 'what if we're a simulation' concept yet so kudos for that, and there were some funny bits) but the other episodes have ranged from a bit amusing to very meh.

Might be time to finally call it a day.

Thoughts? Pretty rough start.
 
This latest episode that's just dropped (One is Silicon and the Other Gold) is easily the best episode in a couple of years, definitely this season at any rate.

No spoilers expect its an brilliant Leela led centric episode and there is plenty of brilliant one liners and fantastic dialogue (esp from Zoidberg)

Haven't laughed so much constantly at a new episode of Futurama in a couple of years.
