Dodongo wants you to know that you should never doubt Dodongo. On the other hand, Dodongo is kinda sad that none of you will get Dodongo's balls as a trophy!
Can you kindly leave the money I paid for tickets to win said trophy in a brown paper bag labeled 'fred' behind the bar... [pun intended]

David King on SEN just now, the Lions must have offered him massive overs for him to be staying, he is an idiot. He was trying to hype up another bag the Lions story.

He's entering elite level flog status with Barrett, Ralph and McClure.
Heard the same & was going to post how he is a super flog nowdays. Can't help themselves.

King is the worst of all of them. Has never predicted anything correctly. I have seen him predict a flag for a team at the start of the year, then a fall from grace happens, then he predicts 5 years of pain, then they have a mid season resurgence and they make top 4.

Haha, the media were all reporting that we were lowballing Schache yesterday... now less than 24 hours later, we "must have paid serious overs".

They'll stick to their "Brisbane are a rabble" narrative rain, hail and shine.

Well, I'll admit I was a few days off. I was expecting the announcement to come after he'd had a run around this week. The cats (lions?) out of the bag now!

Good enough for me. You are this board's current official Horse Whisperer.

well done josh ! you have had some really good advice , the offer is fair on both parties , its appropriate for where you are in your career right now and gives you incentive to become a very relevant player for our club

great work to Noble and Fagan this is the first sign of the steel you will bring to the lions , no longer a push over in contracts first step to making us a force going forward

The offer must have been "just right".

Woooooo!!!! Fantastic news for the club to stop the trend of losing our top draft picks. As we all know it would have been a disaster if we lost a former number 2 draft pick whose father played for the club particularly when you consider the fact that he is a promising young key forward. A big turning point for the club and some credit must go to the likes of Fagan and Noble. I think 2 years is fair. It gives both parties a chance to reassess where things are at after the first 4 years of his career.

Good on Shack for deciding he wants to stick around and help this club move forward. I am confident we'll be moving up the ladder come 2019 which will hopefully lead to Schache extending his stay even further. Let's hope now the contract speculation is done and dusted Schache can simply focus on his footy and have a big second half of the year!

We've seen a lot of guys re-sign over the last 2 or so years. Most recently its been Berry and Cutler. Despite all of them i've still felt apprehensive still about our ability to sign your talent. This has been the biggest indicator for me that our structure off the field is set up properly and that the tide is turning.

Okay, since Richmond fans were so in the mood to negotiate with us to get an elite young key forward prospect, let's see some offers for pick 1 (Jarrod Brander)?

Could be a win/win. We need lots of mids and the top 15 is stacked with them.

If we could do similar to last year and still retain a top end pick eg. Fogarty and someone that would be awesome.

Nice. I like your thinking.

Agree with this. Definitely feels like closure on the whole go home thing imo.

I'm not prepared to call that yet and in all honesty i don't think it will ever go away entirely. What I do think is that we're slowly getting our off field staffing and structures to a point where we should be able to minimise the impact of it. It will never go away IMO
