Serious gun. Skills have improved a lot over the last year, still not perfect but given the rate they have improved so far, it won't be long till they're brilliant. The rest of his game is perfect. Favorite player easily for me.

Yeah I don't get it, opposition fans (with many from the Eagles) have been universal in their praise in this thread, why take a shot at a non-existent insult?
gopower is the one with the chip on his shoulder judging by his "performance" in the Ross Lyon thread, merely bewildered he's capable of rationality when it comes to the Dockers. Also, pretty sure it was Fyfe he was complimenting, not me mate

I just find it amusing that you're so self-obsessed that you think bagging a guy who spent 5 years at the Saints and has coached 1 game at Freo means that I'm biased against Freo. If my 'performance' as you put it proved bias against anyone, it'd be the Saints. I like Freo, or at least I did before they had Lyon at the helm. But this has nothing to do with the thread and I don't want to derail a Fyfe thread because Fyfe is my favourite non-Port player, so now that I've defended myself I won't comment on it anymore.

I missed more than a fair share of Freo games last year unfortunately, but after watching the weekend its unbelievable how good this guy now is. Isnt it only his 3rd year of AFL? He is an absolute gun, awesome to watch a midfielder than does it all - great OH mark, wins the hard ball, knows where to find it, good tank, has the X factor. His disposal has improved heaps (that goal on his left was unreal). Cant wait to see the kind of player he is at his peak in a few years.

I'm not sure if he's the best by a country mile with the likes of Martin, Trengove, Scully and even Butcher in the draft, but he is certainly my favourite player to watch from that group. Dead. Set. Gun.
