Turkey Beach (A Kane Cornes favourite place)

I wanted to put the "Town of 1770" and play the unbeatable hand fossie. But the official name is Seventeen Seventy (Damn). Up this way it is just known as 1770.
Its a beautiful place. Turkey beach is close by as well.

The O'Connell Street Bridge, Dublin

My Mum told me a story about it.


On O’Connell Street in Dublin stood a massive cop directing traffic. We called him Big Tim. If you wanted to make a right hand turn from the bridge you had to go around Big Tim. If Big Tim wanted to go to the toilet he took off his jacket and dumped it on the ground. Everyone in Dublin knew you had to drive around it but one day when my cousin Clare came up from Clare - she turned right in front of his jacket. Big Tim came yelling from the public toilets - ‘STOP! STOP! STOP!’ Poor Clare stopped. ‘Don’t you know you are meant to drive around me?’ Clare said ‘But you weren’t there!’ He said ‘You are meant to drive around me whether I’m there or not!’
