9am – Team store at gate 13 opens
11.25am – Gates 8 and 19 open
11.35am – Curtain raiser bounce down (State 18s – WA v Allies)
12.30pm – Membership van at gate 12 opens
1.05pm – Remaining gates open
2.35pm – Bounce down
Approx 5.10pm – Final siren
11.30 mate hopefully get down to watch the last half, I'm hoping Freo can continue with their form from the last couple of weeks, if we get off to a good start I think we can win.
Excited for this one, still unsure about whether or not we will get the result but fingers crossed. Hopefully my boy Tabs can somewhat back his game up from last week, not expecting another 5 goal haul. Just want to see some contested marks and another step up in his physicality. Really glad Smith got another run as well and hope he gets a couple.

I tipped us but I'm not overly confident. I'm hoping the last 2 weeks despite being against shit opposition gives the players some confidence to go out and perform better than they have been against better sides. Saying that, I still don't think Port are that good.

I have Port winning this one. Love the form we've been in the last 2 weeks even if it's been against the obvious worst teams in the competition, but I think we will only see that if the squad has some confidence and adrenaline in them. I'm not going to let myself get disappointed of us falling into a relapse of the first 10 weeks also which I can definitely see happening today. Today I just want the youngsters to transition the game that they've been producing the last 2-4 weeks against a better opposition today - win or lose I want to see how they handle the opportunity.
My mind says Port by 4 goals, my heart wants us by under 10 points.

Should be a good game and I give us a fair chance of getting the 4 points. A quick start and effective goal scoring rate is a must....Port wont let us work our way back into the first 1/4 like Brisbane did.

Win or lose we just need to be fiercely competitive for 4 quarters, getting blown off the park will undo a lot of the recent good work.
I looked at our 25 man squad and counted only 6 local boys and 19 from other states, I don't particularly like that situation and would prefer more WA players. I hope we pick more local talent in the future , I don't like the current trend.
