I'm hoping to see big games from our young guns - Wright especially, but also Warren, Tarrant, Ziebell, etc.

Hoping to win, or if we have to lose, I want it to be close.

Ben Warren reads the play beautifully, leads under the ball to advantage and then turns his opponent inside out to run in and kick the first goal. Very good stuff from young Warren.

Didn't see who kicked it to him, but it was a great kick.

Daniel Pratt got in Scott Thompsons way which caused Mooney be able to knock the ball behind the pack and run in for the quick reply.

Gee, Warren has buffed up a fair bit over the summer. Looks like a midfielder.

Hale looking spud-tastic in the forward line so far, leading into Petries space twice now.

We look good across the whole ground except in defense. Daniel Pratt and Robbie Tarrant seem to be clogging up Scotty Thompson, which is resulting in Geelong forwards being able to get some space.

David Hale and Drew Petrie lead into each others space a few times. Having both of them in the same forward line doesn't look like working at quarter time.

Lachie Hansen completely unsighted - probably just on the bench or something I suspect.

Benny Warren and Boomer both look superb so far.

Not good signs for Pratty early, poor start today following on from some ordinary pre-season form as well.

Our defence has been shocking, Pratt gave away a dumb free and we cant seem to clear it out of the 50 very well.

Warren looks the goods so far. Can take a good mark and most importantly, can kick straight. Anthony was everywhere early on but he's fallen off the pace since that great start, but still managed 9 possies. Interesting to note that Geelong lead the hitouts early on.
