I've sat behind them at the Melbourne games and they're harmless, they have fun and interact with opposition supporters.

Last week they were cheering on Suns players having shots for goals in the pre game warm ups and the players seemed to be having fun with it. (Especially Wil Powell)

They mostly do soccer chants though.

There’s about 5 or 6 true supporters that regularly go. The last game against North Melbourne last year I think there was 8 of us plus the cryps

The fact that this game is sold out boggles my brain though. 15k ain’t bad considering where it is, when it is and who is playing.

The fact that this game is sold out boggles my brain though. 15k ain’t bad considering where it is, when it is and who is playing.

Norwood have a great football history. It’s a football suburb. I read though that the capacity for these Norwood Oval matches will be capped at 10k to ”maximise spectator enjoyment“. Stuff that, it can hold 15k and that would be off the charts!!

What's the story with these kids? So confused.

So I'll say this quickly before the game starts - As it's already been mentioned here.

A group of kids, Doing it "for the memes" Don't actually give a stuff about the club and are only in it for the attention/views/infamy

While a lot of them are harmless we've seen in recent weeks an uptick in abusive behavior by them toward opposition fans, They've already been kicked out of Marvel a couple of times and I don't see it being a deterrent If anything it's likely to spur them on. Marvel Stadium and the club should be aware of their toxic side by now but I only have second-hand reports.

It's funny that the soccer chants got mentioned Because if left unchecked it could very well turn into a situation like Soccer Clubs have with a particular sect of "fans" just there to cause havoc and not there for the actual game.

That's how it started with it being more a wanting to enjoy footy away from the crappy home "cheer squad" but we've been a bit more spread out and tied up with life this year, I mean it's not like we have a sugar daddy funding these excursions.

See the problem I have with this is that yeah sure it's great for the short term but if they're not actual supporters then they won't give a crap about the damage they're doing to the club as soon as one of their antics makes the media and that's the last thing we need right now. They also won't listen to the club because they have no reason to.

Call me old and out of touch all you want but I can see the bigger picture here.
