well last years winners could suprise and go back to back but think patty and haydos haven't been in the same form as last yr due to their g/f's holding them back. as for the red hot rooter and babsy they will poll well. as for myself think early on will hurt my chances but will come home strong.

well we come to another fanastic night, the year of the knights. One of the best nights going around GBU!!!
this year will see one or two new winners i feel, with burna, tiff or babs as return winners taking one of good bad or ugly. New winners i predict will see lou from unit 16 maybe in with a show?? um and sloppy or big head dicko with an outside chance, with sloppy being in really good form of late, real sloppy!.
hopefully harey the male bat will not win anything as he is a bat!!!!

After a quick search of res this mornin there has been no reported sighting of D armfield!
Just a quick note to everyone, burna had a another sleep over last night, telling numerous amounts of ghosts stories, resulting in no-one being able to sleep.
My tip for the Knight ( thats a great pun you made up tiff) is that the award could only go to someone who has experienced boutique upstairs on numerous occasions, the one and only Hareasani.

GOOD BAD UGLY CUP 2000M

$0.10 Road kill Chest Dave – After a injury interrupted campaign RKCD last start ran at uni bar over the 3000m and was a great staying effort, goes well second up from a spell. struck interference near the home turn but fought on well to win. NO VALUE

$1.90 Cowboy Lou – this young filly prefers the sprint races and can nibs on pibs. Can handle all tracks so sure to run a place. If she gets to even money great bet.
ONE TO BEAT

$2.40 the Bat- trained in bendigo and form early at boutique upstairs was disappointing but has adapted to the ballarat track well. Trainer is happy with his latest jockey after previous one couldnt get down to the 54kgs to take the ride. will run out a strong mile and prefers jockeys who have a b/f or have just come out of a relationship. Money has come late for the bat. SURE TO RUN WELL

$3.90 Phar Lap Jnr – heart the size of dickos arse and never gives in. can stay all night or run over the mile. Another bendigo horse who never wakes up in his own stable. Has been known to enjoy a good ghost story. form over the last 6 months and even the last half a year have been superb. COULD SUPRISE

$4 – stingray – has been picked up by the PLS stable and is having her last run for the PLN stable. Knows the trip and has been here before. Looking to improve on her placing in this race last year so has the experience on her rivals .Will sit off the pace and come home strong. good value at $4. WATCH OUT FOR THE RAY

$6 Cobweb – has had ankle problems which hampered him early on but has since struck great form, has tried out various jockeys and managed to carry top weight in the ouyen cup when he had nikki davis eyes on board. Will lead and will need to make his run at the right time to be a chance in this star studded field. Ran a place in the cup last year so still a Great each-way bet. DEFINITE CLAIMS

$6.75 Sloppy Joe – Coming across to the PLN stable this year has settled in well and loves a wet track. Performs best when conditions are sloppy and if he can run out the trip will give his more fancied rivals a real shake. TOP SHOW


$7 Head and Arse – massive thoroughbred with a big behind that will struggle to fit in the barriers. Recent form has been sh*thouse with getting blind off two drinks. Guranteed to insult other runners and then try and get a weird writsy. PREFER OTHERS

$8 The Beast – the only international runner in the race coming from Wogoland. Will probably sit just infront of Head and Arse in the race and make her run late. Loves her pasta so will have the gas in the tank coming down the home straight. CONSIDER

$ 9 Mewww- the last of the bendigo entrants, had wraps on him in the GBU cup last yr but failed to run a place. Trainer says he is still getting over his last run where he pulled up sore. Proven at the distance, can not be ruled out. PLACE HOPE

$ 11 Smo – great horse to look at and has the right jockey on board to win a race such as this. Barrier 13 is a concern however with Joely martin on board is sure to get a good run in the race. INCLUDE IN YOUR MULTIPLES

$ 12 Toliet Dog – The surprise packet of the spring carnival so far taking out the Unit 21/22 Toolhead Cup. Up in class and has no experience at the trip. Light weight will help and is clearly the best roughie in the field. PROMISING

$ 14 The Prancer- still a maiden hoping to break through in the cup. Carrying a light weight will run the trip as long as he doesn’t fire up and jump off something during the race. New jockey this yr after last years jockey got the ‘It’s been good’ speech. Strips fitter from previous runs and jockey can get him across from his wide barrier and sit off the pace will be one to watch. WILL BE HARD TO CATCH.

$27 The General – come back from a spell to show his best form lately after trainer restrained him early. Now has no trainer and did escape a drive by shooting couple weeks ago. Doesn’t worry about his jockey’s credentials which could be a factor as anything could end up riding him. Won this race last year but form this campaign hasn’t been close to last year. Will be steaming home late. ONE TO WATCH


$1 Lombo pocket watch – has nothing to do with the GBU but what a horse … 4 back the pegs, no way he can win from there but he did as we all know by now.

Pretty Dissapointed in g-train and the so called 'sani" king not coming to GBU! Can't get the day off my ****! Brother is a pretty well respected teacher at the school who surely could pull some springs and even spare you a couple of bucks for the ride home! ****in ****house!
As for Adam "i'm still winging about the clothsline/not the original sani" patterson, surely dave "hamsting knee/nibs on pibs" armfield's old man could get you off for the night of knights. Last year on res and your not going to be here for the biggest night of it. I pose whether it is due to scabbydogs?? or lugga's pursuits with some other student teachers in ouyen?? Maybe they are aware of their lack of form this year and realise they have not got a hope in hell of even influencing the result. All they will be missed for is their guitar playing ability.

ANyway back to the main events, Burn=back to back Bad! THe muffin pip harey in a late surge to take out good! and our very own cambell kilsby to take out the ugly award for the constant bumming of smokes.

Sam gosbell to blitz the field and be crowned ****test first year on res. This as come about due to his lack of fulfilling pre-race hype about his precidented potential.
