G'Day USA: Souths vs Leeds

Don't know what Crowe is talking about. Setanta shows more than "one or two NRL games a fortnight" They should at least three games a week, along with State of Origin and Finals. He must ALSO remember that Setanta have GAA rights, Rugby Union right and AFL rights for their Channel in the US which they MUST FIT IN during the same time period and also have their main committment of the Soccer. So to fit in what Rugby League they do is great deal better than what they could expect with anyone else.

One game of 12,000 people doesn't mean that Setanta should knock off Soccer, GAA and Union (which are their main three sports in the US) because Russell says so. He should leave it to the NRL to do what the AFL did and work out a deal (which in the AFL's case got 3 games and Finals all LIVE on all their channel's worldwide). Plus it shouldn't matter how many times Souths our on TV in the US (because their is more than one club in the NRL that Americans might want to watch) and why should Setanta share their TV rights with another TV company if they don't have to? They are in the business of getting customers and therefore making a profit, not promoting a code.

Still good job Leeds and Souths on the game, the promotion it created and the crowd it got. Hopefully the code in FL can build upon it.

Crowe is in the business of drumming up media interest for his club hence why he has thrown out the line about Setanta. As for him leaving it to the NRL to work out their TV Deal, Crowe and PHaC realise in order to have a stronger South Sydney, the game needs to grow as a whole and they are doing their bit the help the NRL and League in general.

I commend Both Russell and Peter, what they are doing for their club and the game at the moment is awesome. Great to have a couple of people from outside of the game think out side the square for once.
