XBX Gears of War: E-Day

I'm pretty excited for this. I poured thousands of hours into multiplayer across Gears 1, 2, 3, and Judgement, so I'm excited to see Marcus and Dom back.

Wonder how open it will be? Like 5 was, or more linear?

Have enjoyed this series, as sucky as the final boss fights have been at times.

I know lots of people hated 5 with characters like Kait, but I have enjoyed every entry of the series.

I thought 5 was much better than 4. Kait a much better character than JD too, as he spent most of 4 being a whiny, petulant man-child.

Gears of war 1-3 are incredible games, but I did really enjoy 4 and 5 too, so I hope they continue that story but absolutely stoked they’ve gone with a prequel.

My only real problem with these games is the final bosses have often been total bullshit either in design, bugginess, or unreasonably hard (I played on my own).

General Raam was hands down the worst boss fight I have ever experienced and the Locust Queen was not far behind. Other than that the games are immensely fun all the way through.

Yeah, that's a fair call on the boss fights. They are absurd on the highest difficulty and frankly still too much for normal difficulty.

It was only short but I think the teaser for this was my favourite teaser ever.

I didn't like Gears 4, so never got to around to trying 5 but the first 3 games are awesome.

Unfortunately I see this game lasting a month or so in Oz like 4/5 did unless multiplayer is not region locked (yes pings were stuffed in gears 3/4 but at least got into games)
