This logically begs the question When are the Pies going to win their next flag after losing 12 Grand Finals in 14 appearances in the last 60 years?

Which in turn prompts people to look at the intervening years since their last flag and examine your finals performance which at 3-9 with an average losing margin of 5 goals is found wanting

Fact of the matter is, we didn’t have a Gryan in any of those previous 100+ years.

This year, we have a Gryan! And it’s yet to be disproven that any team that has a Gryan in it WILL win the flag.
