Sam stava and mitch mckee heading north?????? also anyone else heard the cloke brothers rumour to st albans?

From what iv heard st albans were looking to get Jason Cloke as coach as long as 5 weeks ago but something fell through. Im not sure if it was Cloke or st albans that pulled the pin on the idea. Would he still come just as a player???

Mr Finnigan - Grant Tanner, ex Geelong player and newtown u18 coach 2010 will coach Grovedale if the mail is correct.

Looks like Grovedale have finally got something right appointing Tanner, although he will have his work cut out as he had good kids to work with at Newtown this year. Still he got them to a GF which is a tick no matter what! After the saga's of this year some repairs will be needed to change their culture into a winning one but over time with the amount of people living out this side of Geelong and not as many clubs out there competing for players with the right person in charge they should go up. Tanner is the right guy!

I had a mate who played with Busselton over in WA about 3 or 4 yrs ago. He reckoned that had a great list but Tanner was an ordinary coach and they didn't fulfill their potential. Noticed they finished on top in the under 18's last year and couldn't get the job done. Too many people think becasue someone played AFL they will be a good coach!!!

Too right!Lets not get our hopes up with new coaches and wait for them to prove themselves.I agree about Robbo's ramblings and singing. One stint on a tv singing contest and he thinks he is a rock star!I keep going back to the Mitho interview as I dont understand why such coverage for a joeys coach and not any other coach. whats so special about a Joeys coach. Further, the interview did not give any vision for the team, it was all about "what a nice guy robbo was, how he is interested in you and listens to you blah blah! who cares? The team is bigger than the individual and he has a job to do and prove himself.Thats all I am going to say on that topic.
