Considering we play 1-2 games a year at the MCG, with probably one every second year at night, ummmm.....who cares?
But let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story!

From memory we've played 2 night games at the 'G in that time, both last year. One we got smashed by Collingwood and the other was against Melbourne where we coughed up a lead.

I read that article on the train this morning and I am still trying to work out it's relevance!

Geelong havn't won a night game anywhere at any stage when the minimum temperature has been forecast to be under 10 degrees celcius with the relative humidity under 60 percent... they can't win tonight then...

Just putting it out there...

Never seen so much pre game pointless talk about why a team can't or might not win a game... Collingwood have played good footy for two weeks in a row (and good win aside, could consider fortunate to get over the line last week) while Geelong have now been playing good to excellent footy since late April... that's the difference and we'll see it tonight...

Since the start of the season, Geelong has won only 1 final and Collingwood 2. The odds are against the cats. This is when winning finals experience is the key.

Geelong, in it's history, has never lost any match, let alone a finals match, the Friday after having 9 players named in the All Australian side.

We are also carrying a 100% winning record since Joel Selwood won the NAB Rising Star Award.

We have also got a 100% record this year in games played at the MCG, especially against vertically striped sides.

The last time the Cats played a night PF at the MCG, they got smashed by 9 points against Brisbane in 2004.

Could be a good omen for the Pies :thumbsu:

Keep bringing on more useless statistics

Did you even watch that match? Geelong werent smashed, they should have won the match but didnt due to inaccurate kicking. But they were never smashed.
