Finally Daniher and Hipwood show they can be a forward force. Unfortunately it doesn’t happen very often..
They've both missed shots that would be considered easy though. Coach killers the pair of them.

Getting ugly now.

North fading just like we did on Monday.
The style of footy being played across the league has also changed dramatically. Faster and more attack focused. When a team seizes all the momentum and gets a run-on it's far more potent.

Yep.

Looking forward to the day when we do the same.

Clarko giving Fagan big hugs on the field compared to walking off not even shaking hands with Mitchell.

Include not even getting on the same plane as Hawthorn 2 weeks ago.

He obviously doesn't like Hawthorn anymore.

Not sure how to read it yet. I have a few wonderings...without being certain what is going on.

1. His shaking of Shiels' hand and then walking off seemed symbolic to me, that he still has a connection with the past players that he went to glory with, but the new mob are just the opposition as fair as he is concerned. The young players spoke up around the handover time which seemed to want him pushed out, so what loyalty does he owe them, is probably a thought process of Clarkson's.

2. Clarkson looked hugely embarrassed mentioning Hawthorn instead of North in a pre-season team meeting, at a point he was trying to inspire them with a prep talk. I wouldn't be surprised if he is showing to his players as much as anyone that we are just an opponent to him now, after that really bad slip up that North for some reason shared on Social Media.

3. Legacy is huge for Clarkson, and the racism scandal has tarnished him after years of putting everything into our club. If he already had ill feelings towards Reeves for the Hub etc, and if he believes that report etc was handled poorly, no doubt he is beyond ropeable about it towards the people in charge. If that is the case, its hard to know how much of his actions are towards 'the Club' in terms of administrators and how much is towards Mitchell, where he doesn't shake his hand. Something he is known for is sportsmanship etc, so I was surprised not to see them shake hands, but who knows if they did behind closed doors or not.

If a team just played a traditional full back in the traditional full back position, Brisbane's entire game plan would disintegrate.

Wow North another year into their rebuild, after benefiting from Sheezel etc from finishing bottom multiple years in a row, with the addition of Hawthorn's experienced players Howe and Shiels, are still getting embarrassed by huge blowout margins (not long after losing to worst team on the planet ever, Hawthorn). Thoughts Damien?

He ain’t backing down from “tanking”

His sights are on trading TT and what North might get for him - which is zilch at the moment. Maybe Geelong might have a crack given their success in rehabilitating Stengle.
